Filson Historical Society: Film Screening of Wonder: The Lives of Anna and Harlan Hubbard

The story of Anna and Harlan Hubbard, who led their lives as few people in modern times have and in doing so found contentment and freedom. Living in a boat house they built, sustained by food they raised or caught, supported by no electricity, the Hubbards, found their way without modern conveniences. Kentucky author Wendell Berry narrates.

This event begins with a reception and viewing of the Filson’s Shantyboat Life on the Ohio exhibit prior to a screening of the documentary. A question and answer session with KET producer Morgan Atkinson will follow the film. This event is free, but reservations are required.
