Come hear some of Anna and Harlan Hubbard's favorite composers as the Hubbards would have LOVED to hear them: played on the baroque violin and the harpsichord by the Artistic Co-Directors of Bourbon Baroque - Louisville's period instrument ensemble.
John Austin Clark on Harpsichord
Alice Culin-Ellison on Baroque Violin
This concert is part of Afloat: An Ohio River Way of Life. Inspired by the life, art, writing and environmentalism of Harlan Hubbard (1900-1988), several museums, galleries and academic institutions have coordinated for 2019 to call attention to the Ohio River— its beauty, needs, and unmet potential.
On the walls will be "shantyboating" - contemporary oil paintings by Angie Reed Garner.
This is a free concert; donations directly to the musicians are welcomed.
